Official immigration and residence route for Belgium Single Permit, Work in Belgium.
Key requirement
Same official route as Single Permit for Employment.
Employed worker route for non-EU nationals whose Belgian employer applies to the competent regional economic migration authority. A single permit and D visa are used for stays and work over 90 days.

Employer must usually prove no qualified workers were found.
Highly qualified employment route for non-EU workers with a qualifying job offer or contract, higher professional qualifications and Belgian salary threshold. Belgium does not apply a labour market test for this route.

Single permit route for managers, specialists or trainee employees transferred within the same corporate group to Belgium. The application is handled by the competent Belgian region and Immigration Office.

Single permit route for non-EU researchers with a hosting agreement from an approved Belgian research organisation.
