What is AbroadMaster, in one sentence?

Do I need to pay to use it?

No. The Eligibility Checker, all country guides, the cost calculators and the community are free and stay free. Only the AI Assistant, Pathfinder, is paid, at Rs. 990 per month.

Do I have to create an account?

You can browse country guides without one. An account is needed to save your eligibility profile, bookmark countries, post in the community, or use the AI Assistant.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. AbroadMaster is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. See the Terms of Service.

Question 5

How is my match percentage calculated?

Your profile (age, education, work experience, language score, funds and family status) is compared against the published requirements and points rules for each visa type. Each criterion contributes to the score, and the breakdown is shown so you can see exactly what pulled it up or down.

Is the score a decision on my application?

Accepted Answer

No. It is an automated indication based on published criteria, not an assessment by any immigration authority and not a prediction of the outcome. You can ask us to review a result you think is wrong, see automated decision-making in the Terms.

Question 7

What personal data does the checker need?

Only planning data: age band, education level, years of experience, language test scores, approximate funds available and family status. We never ask for passport numbers, NIC numbers or biometric data.

Where does your visa information come from?

Accepted Answer

Primarily from official government immigration and embassy sources, cross-checked by manual research. Each guide shows the source and the date it was last verified.

How often is it updated?

Accepted Answer

Every country is reviewed at least quarterly, and immediately when we detect a policy change. If a guide's last-updated date looks stale to you, tell us and we will prioritise it.

What if the information is wrong?

Immigration rules change constantly, so always confirm decision-critical details with the official authority before acting. If you spot an error, email support@abroadmaster.com. Corrections are treated as urgent. See our disclaimer.

Can the AI make things up?

Accepted Answer

It is built to retrieve from AbroadMaster's own verified content and answer only from that, with the source guide and date cited. When retrieval finds nothing relevant, it is instructed to say so rather than fall back on general knowledge. That reduces invented answers substantially, but no AI system is perfect: always verify anything decision-critical.

Is the AI Assistant legal or immigration advice?

No. It is not a lawyer and not a registered migration agent, and nothing it produces is legal or immigration advice. For advice on your specific case, consult a licensed migration professional or the relevant immigration authority.

Are there usage limits?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Because this is a flat prepaid price rather than metered billing, there are monthly fair-use caps on chat messages and on document generations, counted per calendar month in Sri Lanka and reset on the 1st. The current limits are shown in the assistant before you start.

Who owns the CV or letter it generates?

Accepted Answer

You do. Review and edit anything before you submit it: an application document should be accurate about you, and that part is your responsibility.

Is this a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. It is a prepaid pass: you pick how many months you want, pay once by bank transfer, and access ends when that period ends. Nothing renews automatically.

How do I pay?

Choose your pass period, pay the exact amount through the bank QR, enter the bank transaction reference, and send the prepared WhatsApp message with your receipt screenshot. Access is activated after manual verification.

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

In defined situations: duplicate charges, a payment that succeeded but did not activate access, or a sustained technical failure on our side. Partly-used months are not refundable. Full details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Can I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Request it from your account settings or email privacy@abroadmaster.com. Your account and personal data are deleted within 30 days of a verified request. See the Data Subject Request page.

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service (hosting, database, AI, payments and advertising), as listed in the Privacy Policy.

I'm in the EU. Does GDPR apply to me here?

Accepted Answer

Yes. EU/EEA users have the full set of GDPR rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to purely automated decisions. See the Privacy Policy.

Question 21

Are agent reviews verified?

Accepted Answer

Reviews come from registered accounts and are moderated for authenticity, but they are individual experiences rather than verified facts. Fake or incentivised reviews are removed when detected.

Question 22

Do you remove negative reviews if an agency complains?

Accepted Answer

No. We remove reviews only when they break the Community Guidelines, for example if they are fake, defamatory or contain personal data. Being unflattering or being about an advertiser is never a reason.

How do I report a scam or a bad actor?

Use the report button on any post or review, or email support@abroadmaster.com. Reports involving suspected fraud are prioritised.
