Subjects: No subject restriction recorded
Qualification you must already hold: A bachelors degree for the masters track (this row); a high school diploma suffices for the undergraduate track (age cap 25), and a masters degree for the PhD track (age cap 40).
Age: 35 or under
Language: English IELTS 6 or English TOEFL iBT 80, and Chinese HSK 4. Chinese-taught master's and doctoral programmes require HSK level 4; undergraduate and general scholar programmes require HSK 3. English-taught programmes typically require IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80, with the exact score set by each host university. Applicants who fall short can be placed on a funded one-year Chinese preparatory course.
